On Monday, March 2, 2009, we had 4 inches of snow. Different areas of VA received different amounts. We were hoping for more but happy that we got snow. Allison had her first day off from school because of the snow. 
Actually, school was out for 3 days and the 4th day a 2 hour delay. Allison happened to be sick that week with what we think was the flu that turned into an ear infection. We did go to the doctor, but not until Tuesday because they were closed. Even though Allison was sick, we let her go and play anyway. After all, it doesn't snow a whole lot in VA.
We went sledding down by the YMCA. Daisy got 
away from us so, I had to chase her down. She did not want to be caught. She was having to much fun. Luckily, her leash got stuck on a tree so, I was able to grab her. When the girls were done sledding we headed home . William thought we could take a shortcut back home by following a trail thought the woods. Wrong! He got us lost and we ended up walking in a big circle. Instead of heading back, we tried again. This time we made sure William kept going in the same direction. No little turns to the left like we had done before. And yeah, finally, we made it home.
