Yes, this is a snake skin. He believes it belonged to a black snake and the whole thing was intact. They are suppose to be harmless, at least, not poisonous. I, however, would not want to come face to face with one. I have seen 2 from the windows of my house. In, 2007, one was slithering across the street going away from our house. The other was last fall during a very heavy rain storm.

What a find!
Well, the last day in January was a very cold and blustery day. William decided it would be a good time to hook some cable up under the house in the crawl space. While he was doing this, he looked around under the house. You never know what you may come across, maybe a leaking pipe or some spiders. This is what William found.
